Led by Dr Isha Mckenzie-Mavinga Author of Black Issues in the Therapeutic Process and The Challenge of Racism in Therapeutic Practice.

This class is for individuals of black African and Asian heritage and for people who have attended Isha's Challenge of Racism workshops and who are interested in carrying forward this work.
These two days of intensive introspection will enable processing of patterns and distresses that hinder or block communication and transformation through the impact of racism in therapeutic contexts and training.
Concerns such as internalised racism, shadism and cognitive dissonance will be addressed.
Participants will be assisted to develop facilitation of training, supervision, client work on emerging from the impact of racism.
Peer review and feedback will be encouraged.
