How I Work

 

I offer a warm confidential space where you can talk openly and explore what's happening in your life and what may be shaping the way you feel. My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, exploring how early experiences, relationships and beliefs shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I also draw on systemic thinking, CBT and mentalisation-based approaches, allowing me to respond to your individual needs. I welcome those who may not have had access to therapy before or who are unsure where to begin.

My background includes work in the NHS, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Social Services, supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, cultures and identities, as well as in voluntary organisations such as Women's Aid, Victim Support, and Community projects with vulnerable children and adults in India and South Africa. These experiences have deepened my commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practice.

 

Sessions are weekly, usually on the same day and at the same time for 50 minutes.
Consistency and regularity support the development of trust and therapeutic rhythm, helping meaningful change to unfold over time.
